" They have been a disaster in Brighton
What do you qualify as 'a disaster', and is that from personal experience?. Quite a few strikes from various newspaper reports ."
So you don't live or know people in Brighton then?, just repeating what the Murdoch press has told you?. The (mostly male) refuse collectors went on strike in protest at the equalling of allowances with the (mostly female)care workers. Would you class the £64m of inward investment as a disaster too?, Toad Hole Valley?, the town centre redevelopment? |

"Tree huggers, nut jobs or do they have a point? Discuss........" .
You can call us what you like, people love to label things they don't understand or are afraid of.
But you really have nothing to fear, if nothing else the green party are the most democratic party, all policies are developed by the members and passed at conferences, I've been to quite a few conferences and believe it or not the range of different people who are members would astound you!. |

All the above points are local government....not the MP!
Who runs the council in Brighton? Who actually attracted that inward investment?
There is in fact no overall control. Labour are largest party, Tories second, but decisions taken jointly. |

They could be a reasonable party if their policies were leaning to practical greener solutions opposed to ones that are overly green and make life much harder for people ie promoting greener transport like cycling and cycle lanes, electric buses, improved recycling etc but sadly too many in the party seem to believe we should all stop bathing to save water, walk to work even if it is 50 miles away, only eat what we can grow in our garden and walk round in the dark |
