Does anyone own one of these or the Citroen C1 or Peugeot 107 ?. I know they are basically the same car but would like to know owners experience with them. We are thinking of buying one as we don't need a car as big as our Scenic anymore.Cheers.

Don't own one, but ride in one regularly, absolute hate the things. I'd recommend getting something bigger, especially if you do a lot of motorway miles.

No most mileage is to work and back. About 30 miles round trip.

. Are you buying new or secondhand . French cars may be fine when new but do not have a very good reputation for reliability when older . A Fiesta may be a better bet .

I had a pug 107 when I passed at 17

Cheap as chips to run

Mine was an 08 and they have known clutch failures around 40-50k miles

The exhaust note will also drive you insane

Cheap to run

Cheap tyres

Cheap to tax

Shit build quality

Our Scenic is 14 years old with 130000 miles on it. Mot yesterday only needed a number plate bulb.I think French cars are like any other really look after them and they last. We are thinking of an 09 or 10 plate. What car gives them good reviews. My parents have a fiesta that's quite thirsty despite only being a 1.4

It's a french/Japanese platform built in the Czech republic using a Toyota petrol engine or a Ford diesel engine.

C1 is a great little car! Manufacturer service isn't usually cheap with that brand but c1 is pretty affordable to run and maintain

i had a fleet of about 30 of the c1's over a period of a year as rental vehicles, not one bad word was said by any of the hire customers, not a bad way to form an opinion on how they are to drive/live with
