Can't fault them.
Being a single male on here we have to employ all the tools we have to try and lure the other members in.
Why is it desperate measures in other people's eyes?
Oh to have nothing to do but sit back and wait for the mails to arrive like the single ladies and couples. |

I can assure anyone that I'm not either desperate nor reckless

It could be a few reasons
Maybe they are after a meet that night but for some reason, work etc, can't log back online and see a phone number as an easy way of people contacting them if they are not online |

. I find it difficult to see any harm in leaving a number . People can contact you easily if necessary and avoid going through the long winded email process. It also gives potential meets a chance to make a quick assessment of you . How can it be deemed to be desperate ?. Some members are seeking same day meets and it gives those who want this a chance to contact you . If you leave a number it also indicates that you are genuine .
