Mine favourites have got to be Xanadu and Sweeney Todd. I like Xanadu for its amazing songs and I like Sweeney Todd for its story of loss and revenge.

Oh yeah and Grease 2, the 1st one bugs me a bit due to over exposure as a kid, although I will confess to still sneaking a peak if it's on TV, big I loved the 2nd one more, I need me a Cool Rider!!  |

Can't abide film dialogue being sung at me.....
Imagine if folk started doing that in real life! I'd be arrested for breaking some idiots eye socket in no time |

seven brides for seven brothers was one of the first that I saw, loved it then and want to watch it now, but my list include the usual ones

I hate Richard O'Brian with every fibre of my being. And I hate most of the rocky horror show. Couple of good songs.
I much prefer little shop of horrors, Steve Martin's "I am your dentist" song has me in stitches every time I see it. |

I'm also a huge fan of Jesus Christ superstar. So cheesy and the backing music sounds like its straight from a porn film.
Look up AD/BC A Rock Opera on YouTube. Its Matt Berry's homage to it and is so spot on. Unless your in on the joke, some people would think it was serious. |

All these replies and nobody has mentioned 'West side story'? Sacrilege! Unless of course somebody did, and I just missed it 
My all-time fave musical and indeed one of my all time favourite films. I can often be heard singing a selection from its soundtrack in the shower! |
