My contact at work isn't being renewed. That's fair enough. lots of others are in the same boat.
My boss told me to go see the head boss, who was the one who told me. (Over a week ago)
What's annoyed me is that my boss hasn't said a word to me. No sorry you have to leave blah blah blah. And yes she knows.
I can see she's she might be embarrassed but ffs suck it up you meant to be the boss.

She's the boss, but she's still a human being. Possibly even a decent one |

Funny thing contracts.......I was a temp for 2 and a half years and during the last year never had my contract renewed.
I just kept turning up, they kept paying me then I got made full time |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"Been with a company I work for for 14 years....never signed a contract, nothing....all done on trust and a handshake. "
If they have been paying you and you have been turning up for 14 years you have an implied contract. The contract is made the moment you accept the job they have offered on the terms they set out verbally.
Technically, you should have a written statement of your duties/role within two months of starting.
(Do I qualify for the boring HR thread now?)
