You feel young when someone assumes you don't remember an certain era as they think you're too young (but you do!)

Yep, you read it right! She had daughter at 16, was a grandmother at 30 when I had my last child. My daughter goes to uni on Sunday her grand daughter, who used to be a friend of my daughter, mother of 4 year old twins!

When i was born you just had grandparents, it was almost unheard of to have great grandparents. With people having children younger and people living longer its great to see that so many members of one family are all alive at once. The way your friends family is going she could easily live to be a great great great granny. Im still waiting to be a granny. I also think the older generations have so much to pass on, i know i learnt so much from my granny.

You wake up in the morning and before you go to bed, (it's the bits in between when I walk past a mirror that I hate)

I'm looking forward to being a gran too. My daughters don't seem to be in a hurry though. I was ooohing and aaahing in BHS today at the cute baby clothes until my daughter dragged me away telling me to let it go as I was too old for babies!

Exactly that, well alright it's my dad in the mirror.

I feel young when my personal trainer at the gym sets me double the resistance on all the tasks and twice the amount of time I have to do them for than she does for my girlfriend who is half my age

Could never do the splits and if I tried now it would be my last act on earth!

Can still do the splits- but that doesn't count.

Felt even younger when our lovely office junior (19) told me on my birthday she was amazed at how old I was- she thought I was 26/27- Bless her

Resistance?! Tasks?!! Gym?!! Blimey, I live on a hill, I'm chuffed I can now get up it without the need of oxygen, and having to set up base camp half way up: you're just showing off!
