Been listening to the coverage of 6 Music festival over the weekend and really regretting not going now. Some great bands. Last time I turn down tickets!

Anyone else go? What were your highlights? Discover anything new?

Durham

I'd normally have gone. It was a pretty good line up.

I'd have liked to have caught The War On Drugs, Father John Misty, Hot Chip, Villagers, Ibibio Sound Machine, Neneh Cherry and Young Fathers of those I haven't seen before.

Of those I have seen before I'd have made sure I caught Public Service Broadcasting and Maximo Park (Paul Smith is an amazing front man), Maccabees and The Charlatans, plus I'd have been happy catching British Sea Power, The Fall and Gaz Coombes again.

There were a lot of good bands on during the day at the fringe venues like the Cluny and Cumberland Arms too. I noticed Stornoway and the Fat White Band on one billboard on the news.

Heard Public Service Broadcasting last night and they sounded amazing.

Shame Jon Hopkins pulled out, was curious to see what he came up with live, sure it would have been great.

Listening to sets from Interpol and Hot Chip this morning
