Pop star George Michael has been jailed for eight weeks after he admitted crashing his Range Rover while under the influence of cannabis.
Lol any other person would of had a longer term in prison .

Well it's been coming for a while. He is a danger to himself and others.
I guess on the bright side he will be expanding the circle of his friends in jail.  |

apparently after "people" have done research it looks like this is only the 2nd time in 10 years that a person has actually gone to prison this long for the offence........
so it is looking like he has actually been made an example of for being famous after he had actually already pleaded guilty....

He was charged after plowing his Range Rover into a branch of Snappy Snaps in Hampstead, north London, in the wee hours of July 4. The dent in the wall is still visible, and someone has added one word of graffiti: Wham.

apparently after "people" have done research it looks like this is only the 2nd time in 10 years that a person has actually gone to prison this long for the offence........
so it is looking like he has actually been made an example of for being famous after he had actually already pleaded guilty....

Sorry fab, I have to disagree. Driving your car whilst stoned out of your head is a danger to yourself, and more imortantly other innocent members of the public. And it's not the first time. 4 weeks in Pentonville does not seem unreasonable. If he does it again then it should be 4 years. |

I concur.
I don't really follow shalabrity news, but i keep hearing about George crashing Range Rovers or being found slumped over the wheel etc.
It seems to me that the guy has a problem and needs to get help (after all, it's not like he couldnt afford the cab fare).
If being sent to prison makes him wake up & small the coffee, it will be a good thing. Can't help thinking 2-3 months inside would have given him some proper thinking time though.
And i'll shoot the editor of the first paper who prints "George, My prison Hell" or the first "Exclusive to ITV" Martin Bashir/Piers Morgan type tv confessathon inter_iewer.

And, no, i'm not.
It's why gun control is such a good thing.
I'm 44 now, and i'm fed up reasoning with people. Especially those who are just so bleeding obviously wrong about stuff.
So it would be easier if i could just nip down to my local Asda, pick up a Beretta & "clip" the relevant parties.
Until eveyone saw things the correct way.
My way.
But i've spoken to the local constabulary, and they were MOST emphatic about not "taking the law into my own hands" and went on and on and on about "vigilante justice" and "public order" and suchlike.
So i had to give up on the idea.
(though i've added the constabulary to the list...)
