MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire) |
lasted 5 years married, but it just wasn't for me - but I suspect we knew that when we got married. But my son is the wonderful thing that came out of it, so would not change it.
I'm much happier single. |

After a few years I have, to my own surprise, reached the point where I would love to be in a relationship again.
My years as a single were VERY much a lot easier! On all levels!
But, I do imagine a good quality relationship could potentially add something to your quality of life. Which is ever so difficult to measure, and also very individual.
I don't believe you get a good relationship, and keep it going, without a lot of effort.
To me the compromising seems to be the highest price to pay. And it's not about if the toilet seat is up or down, it's about truth versus lying, racism versus non, financial insolvencies kept in secret, how you treat children, how you treat you own body and mind, willingnes to communicate, or not, and so forth.
It is a big deal CHOOSING to be in a relationship. |

I have been seeing my girlfriend for a few months and we are going good. But when I was single life was also good. It's about being honest and enjoying the time, we don't know how long it will last but we are having fun and that is all that matters. |
