Has anyone got it? I've just arranged for my mam to have it installed and I'm thinking of kicking my Sky subscription into touch and getting a Freesat+ box myself...I only have standard entertainment and documentary package, never watch pay per view films and don't get my broadband through Sky so I'm thinking £100 for the box and its paid for itself in 4 months when I cancel my Sky subs.
Any opinions greatly received (and do you reckon if I put it on my profile that I want it as a gift I'd get any offers?) |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I would but I have shows I watch on subscription channels. As my bedroom box is free and I get all the same channels I just keep it all on.
We got my Dad a freeview box and he likes it.

Mam has Freeview and the signal round here is shite...her telly crackles and the picture breaks up constantly. We've had the aerial looked at, replaced the telly and the Freeview box to no avail...to be honest, the amount we've spent trying to fix the bloody Freeview would probably have paid the entire street's subscription to Sky for half a year (was the same with the Freeview whilst she was in hossie, so it's obviously something to do with the area)...telly thru a satellite dish is def the way forward round here |

I think some are confusing freesat with freeview.
Freeview uses your television ariel, whereas Freesat uses a dish.
My dad has Freesat+ I think he's on his second receiver now though as the first one was utter shite. |
