Unless you have a severe deficiency you can get all the vitamins you need from food. Vitamin A can be toxic if you take too much,it can damage your liver |

if your closer to 40 do you think you need them,do you feel you are lacking in vitamins, before you do maybe see you doctor first,as some can make you worse than you may feel already, some may even put your body balance out and overdo what vitamins you do need...... |

"I used to take cod liver oil but my doctor said they are pointless "
Well they certainly work for me. I'm nearly 50 and almost wrinkle free. But then again, I don't like fish of any kind |

"Do you take any?
Do you think they work?
If so, which ones do you swear by?
Thinking of starting to take some as I'm the closer side to 40! "
I bought some multi vitamins tablets a couple of months ago, but i forget to take them half the time. |

Vitamin D is mainly from sunlight. I have vittimin D deficiency and have boosters and take them every day. Just google what vitamins are in what foods and find a healthy diet around it. If you think you are lacking then off to quacks. Needle in arm, week or so later get results and take docs advice. If al. Is good then a good healthy diet will keep you going. |

I take Floradix. I am just permanently exhausted without it. My body seems to struggle to absorb iron.
I also take cinnamon as it's a good anti- inflammatory, and helps my psoriasis.
When I remember I take other stuff too.
I think if you are going to take vitamins, see how you feel both on them for a month and off them. I only take things that definitely help me.
Oh I also take calcium when I remember as osteoporosis runs in my family. |
