what do you do when say since you've last been on-line a new thread has appeared which already has a very long line of posts (say +50 posts) on it?
- do you work your way down reading them all until you reach the last?
- do you start to work your way down but soon press END when so many {quotes} have extended the length of the thread?
- or do you go straight to the bottom of the thread and read recent one's as no doubt any possible posts worth jumping on have already been commented on with same _iew as you?

"nope - make a complete fool of myself (see songs for swingers) I posted No.100 which was the same as post No.2
It's the pointing it out when nobody would have known that i find endearing.

Lurk on front page of forum...
Watch number of posts rise quickly...
Spot new post by "RugbydoesMFM"
STRAIGHT to the bottom at breakneck speed to see if it's kicked off...!!
Disappointment when Rugby post says "i also like kittens..."
Resume lurking position.

I tend to look at the theme, the topic, the way it is going, who has posted and if the thread happens to catch my attention and I have something to add I will post. I am guilty of speed reading so probably only catch about 90 percent of the thread. Must confess some of the hilarious forumites make me more likely to post when I spot them even when I have not got anything to say- and you do know who you are lol |

Oooooh a kindred spirit: I do that too when Rugby posts. I look out for "thread closed..." before scrolling to see who was naughty. I know, get a life!
I read top to bottom but if I stumble upon pages of Wikipedia or "love ins" my low boredom threshold kicks in and I abandon reading! |

I tend to skim read everything top to bottom.
Certain people (I call them funky's favourites, yes, I always refer to myself in the 3rd person) who always make me laugh, I will stop and read slowly in case I miss a nugget of their 'wisdom'. |
