Wooohooo!!!
5 years late but still worth staying up for - methinks.
I'm going for mayweather points win - so hope the card is pretty decent ...at the very least an exciting couple of fights before the main event. |

There is a very interesting article on the BBC about this fight. It suggests that it is 5 years too late, but may be the last of the super fights, as due to the paucity of boxing on telly and resultant coverage in the papers there are no famous fighters coming up. |

it is about at best 2-3 years too late... and the funny thing is if they had done it then... you could have come back and done a manny-floyd 2 and still made a shedload of money
the reason why there are no real superfights anymore is that anyone good normally duck each other.... or contracted to different promoters, who are contracted to different PPV providers.... one will be contracted to showtime... the other to HBO....
just like in the uk where some will be contracted to SKY... others to box nation... others to ITV....
will i watch it... yep...
would i pay for it...... probably not at this stage |

De La Hoya 2 would have made a fortune if not for Mayweather 'retiring' then coming back the minute De La Hoya packed it in for good. |

Spark him out Pac-man, mayweather is ready to be taken but the question is can Pac-man do it or will it be a younger fighter??? Maidana made mayweather look average, maybe even a Khan is ready for the next level? |

Mayweather should throw a bedsheet (blue, red or green) over himself in the ring, then Pac-man will think he's one of the ghosts and run away. |
