Who made you God of what is funny? You can only speak for yourself and you have no idea if other people appreciate the humour or not. There are all sorts of people on here, so it's entirely possible that some do.

If the post breaks the rules, report it. If it doesn't break the rules then suck it up, buttercup because whether it annoys you or not doesn't matter one jot.

For me it's not the humour that annoys me it's the flirting I find a bit cringey! If you notice I don't acknowledge flirty comments towards me because it only fills the thread with off topic comments but I've seen many threads where two people will have their own little convo, it doesn't bother me just find it a bit cringey!

It's the nature of the internet and life that there are people around who are different to you.

It can also be the beauty of fab that someone is so out there that they'll post something almost as if they exist in a non-parallel universe.

I'm guilty sometimes as charged, my head can be messed up, but I don't have an evil bone in my body (just evil muscles), my mind and thought processes aren't always mainstream.

It's the people who are abusive and disrespectful that aren't too welcome here, imo. There are lots of people who are needy for attention, and it's perhaps as well that posts are just text, rather than them posting something visual, as you may not like what you see.

There's plenty of choice here. You may get to recognise user's posts that you don't appreciate too much - you can skip them by, you can move to another thread.

The forum police aren't as well staffed now, due to government austerity measures, so users can report something they think is inappropriate: there is no charge for doing so. People who spoil things will largely not get so much out of Fab as others do - they will likely not make friends here so well, may get blocked before they've even tried to contact someone.

In general, a live and let live attitude can be helpful. Topics have a life of their own and can snake any which way. The power of the masses here will typically pull things in the direction that's right, otherwise there's another topic already posted to jump into.

Keep life light, there's so much enjoyment to be had if you focus your attention wisely.

That's a shit example but you get the gist! Comments that are specifically between two people, I just find it a little cringeworthy.

I suspect (actually I know) that a lot of forumites may _iew me as a 'dickhead'. It is pretty much impossible to put in to words how little this bothers me.

don't always agree with what others post. Am pretty damned certain people don't always agree with me. But the exchange of _iews and the discussion are what make the Forums fun. Would be a very dull world if we all agreed with each other on everything.

I don't try to be smart but I do think I can be funny. I'd be worried if everyone 'got' my sense of humour though. Part of the joy of posting for me is occasionally coming across like-minded people through the fora. I don't see posts I disagree with as an issue, more another filter.
