I've seen guys with stretch marks after they've been training hard and bulked up. It's not just women that have them. The majority of women have them as a result of pregnancy and I absolutely detest a guy that would say they were off putting. |

I've had stretch marks from about the age of 16 from losing weight too quickly and there are obviously more of them now that we have one Little'un and another on the way.
Anyone who doesn't like it can scarper for all I care, for every man/woman who turns their nose up, there are dozens more who won't care or who appreciate them.

I have lots of them, I have lots of scars too - my husband loves them all and kisses and bites them....he says they add texture to my skin. I have never been bothered by them and have never had a negative comment about them.
I am comfortable in my skin, if someone doesn't like them it's their choice I can't do anything about it  |

Just depends on the elasticity of your skin. I have none from having my son but since I've just lost a load of weight I've got 2 tiny silvery ones on the top of my thigh.. |

Being a former powerlifter i myself have plenty of stretch marks having reached 21stone and then even more and a few skin tags as result of losing the weight and its something i can be self concious of. I wouldnt say stretch marks are a feature i pay any attention too but iv met many women with curves who have them and i loves curves i does and its great when someone doesnt mention mine. |

It's a bit like cellulite, depends on your skin type. You can have stretch marks from weight loss /gain as well.
I've had two children and have no marks. |

Just a few years ago I was extremely overweight(size 22/24). I'm still in the process of loosing the last bit of weight. I've had a daughter in the middle of all this too so it's taken it's toll on my body.
I have stretch marks on my tummy and It makes me very self conscious on a meet. No on has ever commented or anything, just my own insecurities.  |

I've had 3 children and only got one tiny stretch mark and that was with my son. I'm surprised I didn't get lots with him as he was 9lbs! I think I must have very stretchy skin as I was back in my size 8 clothes a week after having all of them. |
