They know I swing... Was asked by the director of loud sounds (the production team responsible for bestival, camp bestival, certain Hyde park concerts etc) how the dogging was going?! So I had to explain I swung, rather than I was a dogger....that was odd.
I think they think I'm pretty chill, good at my shit and a bit of a man whore |

I don't care what people think of me at work! I just try my hardest, do my job to my full potential and will work with anyone.
I don't see them as nothing more than colleagues, so don't bring feelings or cares into it! |

Blimey! Either it is a horrible place to work or you are a miserable git!
Me? I am well thought of at work, I work for a charity and try to make the day as pleasant as possible for those who volunteers with us. Of course I have to get the work done, but we can at least have a good time doing it! |

It varies from person to person. For the most part I'm thought of as friendly and funny.
I have helped a colleague a lot recently and she thinks the sun shines out of my wotsit!! She even told our big big boss that I was so amazing at learning things I could do his job with just a weeks training. Not sure it went down too well lol
Others perhaps think I'm a know it all because I know it all |

No I'm not miserable in the least, I just see work colleagues as colleagues. I get on fine with them, laugh and joke with them, but I don't care what they think of me! If they like me they like me, if they don't they don't. I treat everyone the same, but I've worked in some pretty cut throat and shitty environments, so I guess I'm moulded into not caring! |

Most think I spend too much money on my car
But I get on with most people I work with, some just need to pull their head out of their arse and stop having their own personal black cloud, being miserable and complain about everything |

I think most of my colleagues think I'm strange for not showing an interest in football or casual racism.
The fact I read books and know one or two 'big' words doesn't help either....weirdo that I am!
Not all the folks I've ever worked with are like this, just most of them lol.
On the flip side I do impress quite a few with my cat like agility, speed, precision n sheer hard graft I'm capable of work wise.I often put to shame guys a lot more muscular than me,after all....I am Bruce Lee! haha |

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you) |
If you meet me you will know straight away I am a little bit different. At work they say I march to my own band
They think I am funny, very happy, a bit weird but they like and tolerate me. They put up with my quirks and giggle at me when I go a bit dippy.
We have employed a don't ask if you don't want to know policy (I have the same thing with my family) because I have no brain/mouth filter so if you ask me something I will answer you honestly and in great detail - so they know all about swinging and some are surprised, some very curious..... |

One of my department hadn't realised I'd walked into the room and was on the phone to someone who clearly asked "what's the new boss like?" - her answer "Mad as a box of frogs, but lovely" - hmmmm! |

I'm self employed. My staff always used to be scared of me lol, but my clients think I'm gods gift usually. A creative photographer once said I was really hard to please, a perfectionist, but the results were so worth it, they did their best work with me.

Depends who you ask: my staff...all think I'm lazy and they could do my job. My boss: I'm invaluable. Colleagues from other departments, I'm a font of knowledge, a nice person, external solicitors, someone to impress and flatter.
What can I say: I'm awesome! |

I only get to know the good stuff - but am known to be tenacious and to stand up for what is right (in my mind), even if they don't agree.
As a student, I'm with largely carefree shag anything types, so I'm not sure there's too much difference - please don't message me if you don't fit my filter criteria: I don't shag anything Lecturers are happy regardless and my mouth is readily opened, so I'm often a big contributor to research and in lectures. Did I say that perhaps I talk too much, sometimes, and am known for it?
I get compliments on my dress sense, but don't always think my style is overly appreciated by all, c'est la vie. |

I don't hide my lifestyle from anyone and that includes work. ..they love asking how my weekends have been and if I'm seeing anyone nice for fun...in the work side they respect me for I've earn it...they may not like me all the time as I have to make hard decisions they don't always appreciate but find as we all socialise as a team it keeps the balance...all is forgiven as the wine bottle empties lol |

The only polite (ish) word I can think of to describe the people I work with is erm ... limited
They have no desire or concept of anyone choosing a different path to theirs and are outraged that I don't have children or watch East Enders or talk about what washing powder I prefer!
I think they think I'm a lezzer
A sad lonely sexless lezzer!
I'd love to let it slip that I'm organising a MMMF ....... |

My boss knows I'm a swinger because I told him when I was redoing my security clearance - I didn't want him thrown a googly should the Men in Black decide to inter_iew him (I was completely honest on my declaration)...
Imagine my surprise when my clearance whipped straight through with none of my referees/boss inter_iewed, yet my colleague who has no life apart from his children (he also knows about my lifestyle and tells me at great length about his own lack of life) is being inter_iewed as is our boss regarding him |

As to what they think of me, perhaps this exchange will illustrate...

Boss...Fuck me, never thought I'd hear you say that!

My aim to to complete the tasks which I am assigned to do in the most efficient manner possible without the necessity to work too many extra hours . I am able to switch off from work easily as I don't think about it once I close the office door. I am happy to rely on feedback from six month appraisals. I have no desire to socialise outside of work wit with work colleagues . I am however friendly and chat during working hours but what colleagues do outside working hours is none of my businness . |

Not really sure, I'm probably the boring reliable one.
The managers know I get the work done and was usually left in charge and left with the task of training newbies as apparently I'm efficient and have the patience of a Saint.
On the other end of the spectrum, other staff members always came to me for help (especially when they were scared the manager was going to bite their head off), so kind of became the "go-to" girl.
Had a very relaxed relationship with my managers where I could tell them to fuck off or talk about sexual antics.
Probably the best people I've ever worked with, it's a shame I won't be going back.

The people I work with talk about football. And because I don't like football that means they don't talk to me. Oh unless they are taking the piss about me spending a weekend in with my cats.
They probably see me as some sad lonely spinster, not that I care on their opinions as I see them as boring and one-dimensional |

Woman in Black...I see you're bisexual...do you tell people this?
Me...you mean do I introduce myself by saying "hi, I'm Caz and I'm bisexual?"
WiB...I see your point...do people know
Me...Yep, my friends know, my family don't but if it came up, or more to the point if someone tried to use it against me, I'd take out an advert in the local rag advising all and sundry that I sup from the furry cup
WiB (failing to keep a straight face)...I see, you don't seem to have a problem with it
And somehow, I got my clearance |

I get the clearance too by being open. If you can't be blackmailed and don't do anything that would put the organisation in disrepute then it's much easier for all than having someone deny something that comes up in a check and acts in cagey ways.

There's one woman at work, she's higher up than me, we were both at a party last night, I was chosen to do karaoke, someone had put my name down without me knowing, making me feel really embarrassed and humiliated when I refused to go up and sing.
This woman then started telling everyone on our table that I put my own name down for karaoke.
I now have to spend 8 hours with her today |
