by-line in the news....australian lawyer decides to do a notts and see who will win in the fight of bible v's koran and tears pages from the books, rolls them into joints and smokes them.
now, he did this the same weekend as folk were rembembering 9/11 and after the Rev Terry Jones revoked his threat to have a public burning of the bible.
the guy was subsequently put 'on leave' by his employers and youtube, where the video was posted, removed it immediately.
now...how did this not incur the media frenzy that jhonesy did?
not that i approve of course...i think the media did a terrible thing by giving that chap the air space they did. |

I was trying to say that there wasn't such a hullabaloo is Oz cos they say like it is over there and someone official prob got hold of the guy smoking bibles/korans and told him to stop being such a twat.
If officals had done the same thing a few weeks ago to that silly arse in America he wouldn't have even made it to the front page of his local rag.
