going in with the hard-hitting topics me!!!
anyway, so we all like a chinese or and indian or a pizza (well you cheese eating freaks do) from time to time...
looks like we are getting one more competitor in the game.....
Burger king!!!!!!
Burger King have announced a home delivery service in the UK.
Before you get too excited, however, it's best to know the service is only being trialled in some locations: Hornchurch, Gants Hill, Romford, Hayes, Northampton, Truro, Skegness and Hull and only certain postcodes within those areas
so if it is a success and it does go nationwide...... would you really order a burger king and get it delivered?????
and..... discuss! |

With BK you have to order it your way and have it warmed up to your order.
when i said warmed up it's because they cook stuff ready then assemble it as standard and nuke it to go on the servery . then it waits for you to order it. so ordering something different gets you freshly nuked food.

Wouldn't it be better to buy it on site, take home and fast freeze it? Defrost and heat on demand. I've hardly done burgers the past few years so don't think id use the service. I've had pizza abroad but nothing delivered in the UK. |

BK need to invest in some serious staff training before coming up with harebrained ideas like this Luke warm nuked food is not palatable at the best of times.
A fresh BK is a delightful though rare feast |

For me its always a Bacon Double, I always take the lid off the burger, layer some tomato sauce in it, then x2 layers of fries, criss crossed, before returning the lid and eating it in about 8 bites |

I prefer my own home made ones. I can have it any way I want it |

What effect will this cause to the NHS? I thought having to walk to the fastfood joint was a insentive for overweight people to get some form of exercise. Now this way there's no need for the obese to leave the house. I really hate the way this country is becoming. |

Non of my ailments are caused by me being overweight
And if you ask all of my friends, I eat remarkably less that my 4 fit athletic brothers
My daughter's a nurse
And most of the NHS costs come from the elderly, smokers, and alcoholics
Although obviously obese patients do cost the NHS too

And if you're lucky they're only 40% rat feathers. |
