"Myprotein unflavoured, you can make lots of different flavours of shake if you have unflavoured whey."
Or even with flavoured but making your own is the whey forward I agree.
Most mass gainers are shite and full of sugar. Stick to pure protein or whey isolate powders. Mix it with oats,
Almond milk and it's delicious |

"I don't use protein shakes, bottle of mineral water for me at the gym. "
Oh, I don't bother taking it to the gym, it just helps mr get my protein requirement in for the day cheaply. I tend to have it first thing with breakfast. |

Protein shakes are all fine and dandy but they're not an all-round solution. You're better off finding it in natural foods that also have the building blocks for HGH and Testosterone.
Eggs, nuts, red meat, yoghurt, milk, pineapple, sea, chocolate/cocoa (the real stuff, not the junk), water.
That way, you're not just pumping yourself full of stuff aside from your meals that will just make you fat if you don't get your exercise, sleep and sex.

"Maximuscle protein milk strawberry. Ready made bottles only.
Every protein powder I've tried has made me nauseous. "
A lot of them use ingredients like "waxy maize" which can have an effect on people. |

Just stick to whey protein to be honest. I think that's the least 'problematic' protein out there.
You don't really need anything fancy to be honest. Just eat clean, train hard.
My shakes have all finished. And my training has also gone down hill too.

Whey is "natural' - its a by-product of the cheese making process, used to soak barley in it to feed to pigs back in the day, balanced out the ration a bit.
All 'whey isolate' is is freeze drying the solid element out of it (because it is mostly water). |

Don't tend to bother with the shakes anymore, used a fair few over the years but now use solid replacements after a gym session (jerky, mackerel, nuts) and oats as a pre workout.
We are all different, find what works and go with it.

My Protein overtime - you are only paying for the product NOT the name on the packaging.
Unflavoured overtime and then just choose what I want to have each time.
Tropical Storm is just amazing, toffee, banana, chocolate all work well but I just get the flavours on their own so have the choice.
Look at using juice instead off milk as you won't get bloated - slightly more whey to keep the grammes up - 2 bananas, orange juice (with bits) and some tropical storm - just..... mmmmmmmm |

My "pre-workout" tends to be a bowl of Rice Krispies (if I can be bothered) and my "post workout" is currently some sour apple rings that I bought from Lidl.... |

Whey isolate using my protein at the moment but normally gold standered , I agree with the above that food is better but I just can't consume that much food in one day and I do feel the fast digestion is optimal in the morning and after training . |

Protein powders have their place, if they are used purely as a supplement and not as food replacement.
They're food bulking and protien macros if you simply can't get/or are sick of eating 1kg of chicken a day lol |

I eat from 800g to 1kg of chicken aday so main protein is from chicken for me, then I might add tuna, egg for another 30g. in total I eat about 230g protein daily. |

I am 81kg and I have a day of eating as well and I always have it on Saturdays to give the body a rest from it all you know.

If you are cutting (and I assume you are) you need about 1g protein/500g of lean body mass (that is, all your mass that isn't fat - you can work it out online).
You need slightly less when bulking because carbs will help your uptake.
Raw eggs in a shake?
Rather you than me. |
