Hello fabbers

The pooch and i will be walking up the Great Orme , later. The Northern Lights spilled over North Wales and the North of England last night.

So we are off to see if it happens again

"see them all the time here.."

Lucky, lucky you. That's on my bucket list. The kids have an "aurora light" which shines them onto the ceiling at bedtime. Love it.

I just looked for your location to see where you "see the northern lights all the time".

Apparently they are behind me?

It's not that unusual to have the lights as far south as Manchester.

Although they can reach much further down depending on the solar flares

Does it look much to the pooch? I thought dogs were colour blind. Or has mine been lying all these years about not being able to fetch a red ball from green grass. Lazy dog.

You've got more chance of seeing the northern lights than streetlights down here.
