yesterday while on here i was having issues at work as was on call,
and was finally called into to work, which i knew was going to happen and due to the incident i put on profile something along the lines off
don't ask me to meet no meets
i had this message saying
bad grammar is inexcusable and blocked me
WTF lol
whats been the funniest you have had? |

Must admit i block people who do the text, chav talk when messaging you
I dont know why but people who put this like tat instead of that and wid for with etc just really REALLY annoy me
I had a few times turned down meeting guys i have spoken to and got on with really based on that alone
Because most people spell how they speak and if i had to sit taking to someone who spoke like that i'd drowned them i think lol |

Text speak doesn't do it for us either for the simple difference that we'd probably be miles apart culturally and that just doesn't appeal to us. We like a good mind behind a good body lol  |

Sometimes if people are using their mobile phones to put messages on, it can affect the way it reads. You can usually tell if it is a genuine mistake or somebody who always writes in text talk or slang.

I'd never block anyone for improper grammar, so yes that's rude.

I agree, it seems oddly pretentious to be typing out a phonetic patois - I can only presume that such people see their accent as irresistable and want me to imagine them in that accent. |

I find it ironic as if you had written a thread stating that you were fed up of pm's with bad spelling or grammar, the default answer would be to block them.
We have the block to use at our own discretion and I guess that person was just excercising their right.
Would you want to pm someone who didn't want to receive mail of you? |
