So you're going to be stood in the middle of the night in clapham common wearing a bra and leggings? This isn't going to end well |

There is quite a serious point here
This a breast cancer moon walk
I will be one of 15,000 people doing the walk
mainly women to rise money for breast cancer.
Just wondered if any one else was doing it to |

My friends did that last year's and said it was a complete and utter shambles and they would never do it again. In the end they walked 29 miles as it was so poorly organised.
It's a shame as it is a big fundraising event. Hope they have learnt their lessons from last year and you have a great time doing it. |

I did last year as well.
Not sure I walked 29 miles.
some of the route was inappropriate for the number of people walking and it took us ages to get past the bottle necks especially at the start.
But after about two hours and 6 miles it sorted itself out.
I did ot get stressed I just relaxed and enjoyed it.
I would say however people do under estimate how far 26 miles is and perhaps did not do the training....
It can also be quite cold even in May..
The key is not to stop however slowly you are walking.
I would recommend anyone wanting a worthwhile challenge should have a go all in a good cause |

They used a tracker app on their phone to log how far they walked although I do agree they perhaps under estimated it when it came to training. |
