Our garden has been inundated with feckin huge spiders! There's loads of 'em and they've built webs everywhere, which I don't mind so much as they eat caterpillars and they're just devil's spawn. Now I don't know what the spider Heirarchy is when it comes to keeping out of another spider's web.. do they get arsey about it?

The reason I ask is that outside our garden is a telegraph pole with a dozen wires leading from it in all different directions - just like a web.. and I've often wondered if spiders look at it and think, "I ain't messing with THAT dude, nosiree!"

Yeah, lightly coloured ones with stripes. Loads of 'em! I never kill them if they get in the house, I just catch them in a glass and chuck them out. They do too much good in the garden to warrant killing. I caught a few earlier in the summer and released them into my cabbage patch after caterpillars had decided Chez Wishy was THE place to dine. Not anymore. Spidey and his chums gobbled them all up.

but don't they look lovely with the early morning dew on them? Where we live (out in the sticks) we have spiders all the time, they seem very attracted to our facia boards and window frames for some reason

I'm normally petrified of spiders and was gutted When recently one took up residence in my shower. Happened to change my staus to tell the world. A guy on site offered to come rescue me in exchange for a wee cuppa. He turned up half an hour later, got rid of spider and we chatted over coffee. We clicked and ended up getting my pussy licked for hours and then got fucked. I can't wait to get another spider in my house. Lol

Little bugs and flying insects are attracted to the house lights from windows and glazed doors. Thats why the webs are on your frames.

If you put conkers down, dont forget to pierce the skins.

Hmmm, first giant rats, now giant spiders.

I shan't be in a hurry to move into your neighbourhood for sure!

little house on the praire

Strangley, i seemed to have had an invasion in the house yesterday, they seemed to be everywhere, massive one in the bath and lots of little ones in the bathroom. I used to be petrified of spiders when i was younger but thankfully i seemed to outgrow it in my 20's. I still wouldnt pick one up but im quite happy for them to be here

"Why do spiders hate conkers?"

I think it's the aroma they exude, conkers that is.

Ever seen a big web on a conker tree?
