93.137% of all single man messages are titled "Hi".
81.34% say in the message "How r u?" (Are they bothered or do they just want to fuck?)

not sure about that.
it seems to me that there are a lot of people here who struggle with having a proper conversation.
if they keep writing you but only in two words they are obviously interested, aren't they? |

Some of the first messages I receive are quite difficult to respond to!  Even if I'm interested in meeting I don't want to get drawn into dirty message ping pong - I'd rather have the flirty talk in the flesh.
So I often reply with brief or one word messages. The alternative is my stock no thanks message.
The most common first message I get is a variation on "how are you". If you asked me that in the flesh the answer is probably going to be brief, why would I write an essay? |

If not interested why even send a reply ?
Ignore/delete the message speaks for its self.
But a reply 2 or 3 one word reply's i would say also speaks for its self.

If you're sending ping pong messages with terse replies then switch to live messaging which is more like chat.
If you've stopped someone in their tracks, they may be somewhat tied up whilst replying.
Otherwise as the initiator what can you do differently to engage them more? |
