Hereabouts

I'm the kind of person who gets mild versions of side effects of medication just because I've read it... Like hives from antibiotics etc.

Because of that, I refuse to symptom check online. But fuck me... My head hurts like a bitch (I'm writing this with my eyes half closed and the brightness turned right down on my phone), got a stiff neck and I've just discovered a red dotty patch on the back of my leg that looks like heat rash.

Somebody please reassure me that I'm just overtired and I'm not dying.

Apart from the red patch that sounds like the migraines I get but I take it you don't usually suffer from them? x

Would need to give you a personal all over body examination to rule out anything nasty first though OP

It doesn't feel like a migraine. I usually get sick when I have a migraine

I could come and sing Soft Kitty to you if you like, really quietly so it's not too painful. x

That could help as long as you stroke my forehead/hair line at the same time

Er, I don't want to worry you but this might need checking out.

Do you have a fever?

Also, try the glass test on the rash:

A fever with a rash that doesn't fade under pressure is a medical emergency, and you should seek immediate medical help.

No fever, the rash was very small and didn't fade under pressure when I tested it last night but it's gone now which is strange. Not feeling quite as rough this morning but still got a stiff neck and headache. I don't think it's anything serious, but if it's not gone by tomorrow then I'll go see my GP

Firstly don't panic... It sounds like a mild form of Ebola or maybe bubonic plague.

Paint a red cross on your front door and nail it shut.

Then wrap yourself up very tightly in a sheet (saves them a job later).

But the main thing is don't panic and don't breath on anyone!

The land of grey peas and bacon

I remember when I went to A&E as I had this rash all over me and when the triage nurse did the glass test it never went away. She told me to go and sit in the waiting room and I would be called. I saw a doctor running out through the double door and shout Miss ........ Will you come with me...I have never been hooked to a machine so quick the fuckers then did a lumber thingy which hurt like a bitch. I didn't have meningitis but they couldn't work out what I had. I was on an anti biotic drip for 3 days. To this day they never found out what it was....

Get yourself checked. It's more than likely it will be something like flu and you'll just have to manage the ten days until you get better.

That's the plan. I've been asleep most of the day so I'm hoping if I just sleep for the next week or so I'll be fine. It's just the added symptoms that are worrying me. I'm sure its nothing though
