What romantic things have you got planned for the mrs tonight?
jk.
But, guys (and girls), i'm quite happy i didn't have to faff about buying a card or teddy with a heart on today.
What's the most romantic thing you've ever done? I'm in a dreamy, feel good type of mood today and wanna hear your stories. |

Have to say the threads have made me all lovely dovey, even if he's not here he's still being romantic.
The best thing I've done was for jays 70th birthday and before we had been to York railway museum and he fell in love with the old trains.
So I booked us a trip on the northern belle, upgraded so we had a table for two, champagne, cocktails 5 course dinner and 5 hour trip through the countryside.
I had an evening dress on and he had black tie, everyone on it was dressed up it was wonderful

Trevi Fountain in Rome drinking champagne out of plastic cups. Done it a few times now with different ex's or dates. It's always very busy and usually cold on valentines but there's a great buzz. |

Both of these are really nice gestures.
I think it's lovely people put such thought into what someone else wants. And it's nice to see romance isn't dead.
I actually visualised that train a little, am in the carriage right now. You went into good enough detail for me to imagine it a bit. |

Well my OH had planned a surprise this evening and hed arranged the babysitter and all the details n now our twins have come down with hand foot and mouth disease so were on doting parental duty instead. So its pjs, disney films whilst all being snuggled up under a big blanket on the sofa, not quite the romantic evening planned but an equally nice alternative given the circumstances |

It did have red carpet in the carriage lol, and a fair amount of gold and cream decor. I'm actually sure i visualised miss marple or some other murder mystery from decades ago.
I love visualising stories, so have enjoyed all these (especially the train), thanks people. |
