Without glasses I look rough, tough and intimidating

With glasses on I look like a mild mannered intellectual

That's what people tell me anyway.

Do glasses drastically change how people see you?

No idea, but as mine are brown tinted, I probably look like I have sunglasses on.

People say my glasses make me look more friendly and warm.

Even though my glasses are rimless, people say I look different without them.

So I guess glass do alter your appearance and people's perception!

I hate how I look without my specs. I think I look odd.

Love wearing them. I've a had a few compliments over the years from guys about the "specs appeal"

OMG, you so don't, and I can't believe you removed your pic of you wearing them!

Don't all men find the secretary/librarian/educated-woman look incedibly sexy?

Having said that, OP, most women who need glasses find me more attractive when they're not wearing them...

Agree. I'm blind as a bat. I prefer contacts for going out and meets coz if I have to take my specs off I'm fooked. Can't see where I left em, never mind anything else. And if I leave them on....Nowt worse than smudgy specs lol x

Yep, that's the one

I used to have a lady who worked for me who wore glasses, and whenever she came in wearing her pencil skirt (with a split to the waist) and her hair up, I always knew she needed a favour from me. (Time off, not the other!)

In the end I discovered that if I hesitated when she asked me, she'd slowly take her glasses off and shake her hair free!

I don't really know. I'm so used to wearing them/not wearing them if I can be arsed with contact lenses that I just think I look like me either way. I have had a few guys who've only seen me without them ask to see me with since I apparently look both cute and naughty in specs.

Yeah people say I look intellectual when I've got mine on. I do remove them when I'm trying to give someone a moody look.

I'd sent face pics and skyped with someone without my specs. Turned up with specs & they didn't recognise me.

I think they make a bigger difference to someone who isn't used to your features.
