Blocking a user

Hi all.

Does anyone know what happens when you block a user?

We have been contacted by the husband of a friend who doesn't know he is on here. If we block him will he still be able to look at our profile, view our webcam in chat etc etc.

It makes us very uncomfortable knowing he can view us.

I think all he can see is your updates. He won't be able to view you in chat or view your profile. He will however be able to see your forum posts.

No, if you block him he cannot see your profile or view your cam. He can see you forum posts though.

Definitely not see your profile

in chat I know your can't see messages from people you've blocked so I'd assume they couldn't see your cam

The proportion of users that post in the forums is tiny compared to the number of people on fab

Even if he did see your posts he still won't be able to see you profile so it wouldn't make any difference

If you have blocked him he cannot view your profile nor will he see your updates.

As for cams I have no idea.
