I've had dental work out there and all the facilities arm incredibly modern and the people who looked after me were very professional and very serious , very similar to when I've used private health care here. |

I hope it goes well for you.
I've been lucky enough to meet a few Poles and so far I've only picked up a few words of their language, but Chesh is both hello and goodbye and Chenki is thanks.
I keep thinking I should go into a shop and ask what they'd recommend for tea, as I'd like to broaden my culinary horizons a bit. |

Yes I have!! Not Poland though.
I had my boobs done in Belgium and I know a lot of others that have had work done abroad with great results. I'm guessing you've done your research on the company and the surgeon and aren't just going there to save a few quid without doing those things.
As long as you've got aftercare procedures covered and you've done the things about I'm sure you will be fine. |

"if it does go tits up least the nhs will fix you up "
That's not necessarily true. For any cosmetic surgery (even stuff bodged in the uk) they will only sort it if it's a danger to your life as a rule. |

I know a chap who had loads of dental work done in Hungary for 1/4 of what it would of cost here and he was impressed with the clinic and everything. |
