whare i use to stay a blind man with the dog claiming and getting the money how can you be blind up on a roof painting the bay window my old friends use to claim for money for drink and thay get it thay should stop giving free cars money for drinking money for people who are greedy pig sthat eat like a horse and stop handing our money to charity wee need it ourselfs  |

I don't quite grasp what the point is, but all I would suggest is....
Worry about what you can change. And consider the bigger picture. Benefits is not a world to be envious of I imagine, fortunate enough not to claim them, and I'm sure if people get on your nerves you wouldn't swap places with them?
Oh and ignore tv or media in general when they discuss benefits. It just doesn't cover the facts. |

Whatever you read in the press or hear in the media is skewed to suit their agenda of selling papers or gaining viewers/listeners a few isolated cases of system abuse will get highlighted and rammed down the throats of those they wish to rile up more than the thousands of people who quietly go about their 100% genuine claim needs. |

Registered blind is not the same as having no sight whatever.
A friend of mine has a hereditary degenerative sight problem which causes tunnel vision which is getting worse. She could climb a ladder and paint a window frame but struggles to walk along a pavement let alone cross a road without assistance. |

Exactly. But let's not let the facts get in the way. These people need hounding out of their homes.....or dole holes as I call them.....and stoning in the streets. Especially the ones the OP mentions who eat a lot. How dare people with disabilities eat a lot ! Next thing you know they will be cramming themselves into their free cars and driving to the pub to spend their limitless free cash on expensive booze. Bastards. |

You all shouldn't get caught up with these storys as they are only distracting from the real thieves. I realise it does make a great inflammatory thread but really if you buy into this you have been mugged.

What we should do is drug test everyone on benefits, and if you fail the drug test you don't get money, instead you get vouchers that will get you food. And if you think you can steal to get money, 10 years minimum in prison. With no chance of parole. I hate these junkie scum bags. If you pass the drugs test you have nothing to worry about. And if you have been a dole scrounged for more than 6 months and you are able to work, you too will receive stamps for food. No need for laziness |

Do you have any idea how much it costs to keep someone in prison for 10 years? Do you think we have room in prison for petty criminals? Also if someone on job seekers allowance didn't get employment within 6 months they get food stamps? Ok how would they pay bills? What if that person had applied for 100's of jobs without success because so many people are applying for the same job.
