"He's going because he's the wrong colour? "
No I doubt it, just looks like that because he is being replaced by a black man and some people have been moaning that there aren't enough ethnic minorities, but there are quite a few actualy. There is Patrick who used to be in love thy neighbour, the muslim family, denise and her fat sister and Arthur. |

yes anyway I don't like all the characters only a few, you need to have people who you can relate to. |

Our Neighbours consist of ... Polish, Irish, Jamaican, Nigerian and French! Local shop keepers are Indian ... So can relate to all, in the multi cultural London that we live in ...
Eastenders is kinda set in the East End of London after all! |

multi-culurism is acs. It's a shame so many see differences as something to fear or resent rather than something to embrace |

Dot should kill him in an industrial washing machine in the laundrette. Uttering the words 'Cotton at 40 degrees' as she turns on the machine boiling him.
PS I haven't watched Eastenders in years so scrap this if the laundrette doesn't exist anymore! |

I lived in Canning Town for 30 years most of mt friends were Jamaican, Indian & Irish amongst many more different nationalities.
We all grow up together so we didn't notice each others colours as we were friends, yes some of our cultures were different but it only added to the characters which i loved.
My kids could sing Indian nursery rhymes to the local shop keeper in Harwich when we first moved to Essex which he found amusing.
East Enders do stick together & watch each others backs, the prog don't show the gun violence & gangs that i grew up with so it has been watered down not to upset viewers.
Saying this i loved the area & people. |
