You need to use the age old method of finding someone who is also awake who can talk to you and fire up your imagination to the point where you want to explode............ You then sort yourself out ...... and hopefully it'll relax you and tire you out so you can settle down. x |

"I'm at work so being paid to be awake.
3 episodes into Season 4 of Sons of Anarchy. And 15 cards made for sale at a craft fair next month.
Night shifts are so productive."
I want your job |

Maybe the night shift, but you sure as hell don't want the day shift that goes with it. |

I've woken up too early, 3.30 ish.
Don't look at electronic screens at night, as blue wavelength light disrupts your body cock and will rouse you. There are apps and software that remove that portion of the wavelength at the right times. I use f.lux to do this. Tvs - tellys not the dressers - have the same problem. |

I wonder about all these people staring at a screen with insomnia. My husband is the same.
Drinks tons of caffeine all day, then wine at night (linked to poor quality sleep), then watches TV then ipad in bed. And wonders why he can't sleep. Doesn't go to bed at a set time, so his poor bodyclock is all over the place and rarely goes outside or does exercise so his body doesn't get those sleepy cues.
My kids are a pain in the bum to get to sleep but managing their day so they have lots of daylight, then run around a lot before dinner, then wind down time after dinner, no screen time and reading books before bed gets them off to sleep.
Wish I could make my husband do the same! |
