Some of you may remember me asking about consentration camps before i went away so thought id give you an update.
Went to fort breendonk, it was more of a holding camp than anything. They would take them there before moving them to a different camp. The walkie talkie that you had told you different individual stories and some of them where extremely sad. The barracks they slept in where awful. There was a small torture chamber which was bad enough. I found it all very interesting and would definetly go to another. I did feel extremely humble and somewhat guilty when we had our picnic later in the day. We really do not realize how lucky we are. |
