oh and plenty of work, enough to make a career out of it

then there's the contract, not that I am awkward but when you turn something you enjoy into work there is a risk it may not be as fun anymore

I'd get involved. I'd make a great tea lady for the stars. Naturally, I'd do a cameo halfway through the big group scene at the end, pushing my trolley on, with tea urn and biscuits asking who wants a brew, telling them not to shoot on my crockery, as that's real China.
