How do you rate their chances?

I reckon if their act is anywhere as effective as their customs control, they are gonna do really well..

Landslide winners.

Doesn't the winner get to hold the event next year?

It doesn't surprise me they appear to be forever looking to find an identity all the time!! There football team moved to Asia so why not the whole country to Europe??

And come on given a choice would you prefer to visit Iceland or Australia if either won??

Eurovision is no longer a valid talent competition, as most of the eastern European countries vote for their neighbours first regardless.

not convinced they'll get anywhere. eurovision is a cultural event and the fact that they haven't developed a culture in over 200 years would mean that even a small pot of yoghurt would beat them in this contest

Menston near Ilkley

It just goes to show the expansionist ideas of the EU.......world domination. I think Putin thinks differently and that worries me.

Poking bears with sticks isn't clever.

Point of note :

The Eurovision song contest is run by the European Broadcasting Union which contains a surprising number of countries not in the EU. Or indeed what any geographer would call Europe.

Did I hear somewhere that the Australian performance is during the interval?

Or have I misheard?
