I enjoy the walking dead, but often ask myself....is this show actually going anywhere?
It seems the same all the time now, kill a few walkers, meet some bad people, have a fight and it goes on and on.
As the comics are still being written, I don't feel they have an end planned for a suitable solution. |

I've given up on it. I enjoyed the first series, but found the second series to be more of a soap, with a contractually agreed appearance of a zombie or two in each episode. I thought it was pretty depressing viewing, so ended up asking myself why was I bothering. It didn't help that I kept expecting the rest of the cast from This Life to pop up. |

I think I'm getting a bit fed up of it. In the first series the zombies were quicker and more fearsome, now they are easy to kill!
It's getting like lost. That started well and went down hill. Hannibal is the best show on TV at the moment! |

Agreed. It seems to be a recurring theme of being on the move, settling somewhere, life is ok for 5 minutes then there's a zombie chomping at your ankle. |

as an unashamed geek I can tell you that the comics and the TV show parted company in terms of plot direction a long time ago |

Let's hope the show starts with some sort of plot for an ending. I mean it's coming to the end of season 5 now, it can't last forever! |

Didn't Andrew Lincoln's character lose his arm in the comics fairly early on? |

Yup. Also Carl has had a pretty major injury and Daryl doesn't exist in the comic AT ALL |

He auditioned for Merle (who also isn't in the comic) and they liked him so much they created the Daryl role for him |

I'm enjoying this series so far, it feels like there's something big brewing up, all the tensions in the camp and moving into the town... There will be something huge happen and soon |

"Bit slow this series..like slow season 2..waiting for the twist but overall big fan and looking forward to tomorrow..no spoilers!,"
It can't be all action, blood and gore. This season is about getting closer to the characters and empathising with them |

My friends got me in to this, I watched all 4 & a half of season 5 in two weeks to catch up.
I love this programme, from my understanding, there are gonna be 8 seasons in total??
So I'm guessing a lot more settling down, kill a few walkers, big village wars & moving on.... |
