I had it on mine for a while. Tested IQ of 130.
And that's not some rubbish MENSA or online test. An educational psychologist tested me as a child.
I did do a PhD but never wrote it up. Oh, wait, does failing my PhD and only getting a masters make me thick?

Never had it on mine, if for some odd reason they want to use my pics.....fill your boots, there are there for anyone to copy and use if they feel fit same as every other pic on this site |

This. IQ and academic qualifications are two different things. Equally, social awareness and ability, charm and common sense are also very, very different things.
In some cases, almost mutually exclusive!
But then again some people really aren't that bright or charming. |

As an ex Law student, the disclaimer is pointless. Not necessarily because you could not in force it as such, but more like the fact that many wouldn't have the financial means to pursue a lengthy civil action against a large organisation. |

Even better than this Sydney university malarkey, is the one that's been going around Facebook about how Facebook are changing there policy blah blah and privacy blah blah. The UN statute it quotes is actually about crimes against humanity and war atrocities... |

A more accurate measure of "thick as shit" could be whether a person would be foolish enough to generalise about a persons intelligence based upon arbitrary data xx
Although I would suggest neither are a reflection of intelligence but a foolish generalisation will often times be a reflection of a needlessly judgmental attitude ? |

I admit that I never put the sydney thing on our profile because I was just too lazy to do some research on it to know what it was all about.
so in my case it is pure laziness.
and being lazy is nor an indicator for being intelligent or not. |

Don't worry yourself about that,there's plenty of folks in this country that can't spell or form a grammatically correct sentence and English is supposed to be their first language |

I put it down to them being unfamiliar with the place. After a while, it would perhaps show a lack of awareness on their part.
For my part, my IQ was tested at 141 and whilst I've got some solid academic achievements, I've got absolutely zero common sense. I test the bath temperature by climbing into it, rather than just dipping an elbow. I have a wonderful faculty for turning common sense off. |

Intelligence can be implied by the writing and inferred by the reader if they are so attuned. Those who don't care either way for intelligence in their meeting partners won't mind. Those who do have all the tools at their disposal.
We found it interesting that certain other sites do have 'how important is intelligence in a partner for this person' as part of their profile stats. |

I've dumbed down to fit in with most of society, but i've never had that thing on my profile.

There are different forms of intelligence - practical, linguistic, mathematical, musical, emotional to name but a few.
For me a man who knows how to use the English language (I mean is aware of subtleties etc) is a really good starting point. Another attractive form of intelligence for me is somebody with emotional intelligence and empathy. Musical intelligence, too is appealing to me. |
