Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
"Top Gun for me "
I never get bored with that film.
Like Lickety, I have too many to mention. But if you put a gun to my head (please don't!) I'd say Spirited Away is probably one of the most satisfying films ever. |

=Great choice of film.
And I like the use of satisfying, film choice changes depends on how I want satisfying.
Most probably Pan's labyrinth would be a consistent high for me. |

Only 1 that's tricky.
My personal favourite film if I had to pick one would be heaven can wait the remake with warren Beatty, it's just a very well made well acted feel good film that I rarely get bored with.
But the best film would probably be vertigo and id probably have that next on my list just because I'm a sucker for Hitchcock and I could watch James Stewart all day. As an interesting side note Stewart grangers real name was James Stewart but had to change it because it was already taken |

"Check out I saw the devil a Korean film it's fuckin amazing the first 15 mins is immense "
Unfortunately the rest feels like it'll never end. It's a 90 minute idea stretched out to 2.5 hours (IMHO of course). |

"Goodfellas
Yes....defo this too" nah you see I put goodfellas in the great film category. It's great but I couldn't watch it more than three times... Like Shawshank it's great but I couldn't watch that after three times.
Now to be on my personal list you have to be able to watch it every year, for years.... Like pulp fiction or twelve monkeys |

For a classic, and a bit of a sniffle 'casablanca'
For flat out cracking comedy 'Some like it hot' Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon in drag, and Marilyn Monroe.
'In Bruges' is a masterpiece and anything by Pixar or studio Ghilbi guaranteed good viewing

Always surprised with the praise for Saving Private Ryan, it is one of my most hated films.
It's a cowardly piece of work and doesn't earn the right to use the violence in the way that it does. |

Nah you see for me, once you'd taken the initial violence out of the characters from the first screening, it kinda loses its mojo a little, I think the initial shock and awe was part of the film and because it's visual you can't recreate it on a second showing, but that's just me! |
