Thinking about attending our very first club, just a regular night, so asking what is the typical atire you guys wear? Need to blend in so to speak standing out as the obvious newbies who got "the scene" all wrong would be a disaster, lol.

As Crystal... says, check each club's guidance. I'm female, so it's a little different. I'm usually in heels, stockings, mini skirt etc, and guys seem to be smart casual generally. People are friendly and relaxed and it's the person that counts. If you're in clothes that you're comfortable in, then you'll be relaxed and I also feel that you shouldn't aim to be invisible, as you can easily just socialise, rather than become a wall flower.

Depends if it is a dressed or towel club like chams.
Dressed club I wear a corset n skirt, you can dress down into lingerie or that little black dress.
Take a few changes, clubs normally have lockers, or keep them in the car, see what others are wearing and change if you think you stand out for the wrong reasons. |

As previous posters have said depends the style of club wether its a sauna based where you wear a towel. Or a normal nightclub style club, i typically where levis and nice shirt |

We tend to dress up to go to Clubs - its kind of like going to a nightclub, so guys need to make an effort (nice shirt, trousers & smart shoes), girls it is as 'hot' as your comfortable with. We were nervous when we first went and i dodn't feel comfortable revealing too much, but after seeing topless and bottomless girls I know tend to wear fmb's, stockings, sexy underwear and a dress I can get off & on easily! At least this way you can take the dress off if you feel like revealing more and then go as far as you want!

Great help guys, sounds silly but this was our main obstacle even after reading some clubs dress code, better to hear from the people who attend was our thinking. Mrs N didn't know whether to wear a dress, lingerie style outfit, whatever, much clearer now and liking the taking various outfits recommend.
Do clubs also have a designated person who'll iron your change of clothes??? Just kidding folks,,,, actually might not be as bad an idea as it sounds. |

As you are in west mids, 2 nearest clubs would be xtasia and chameleons. Two different clubs in terms of dress code. Chams is strip off straight away, underwear or towel for men, and sexy dress, lingerie, underwear or towel for women.
Xtasia is like a nightclub so normal nightclub wear is ok, but many women do dress down, lingerie, or sexy revealing dresses you would not normally see in a normal nightclub. At xtasia i always go smart casual (smart jeans, shoes and either a smart jumper or t-shirt). |

I agree with Centaur , you are very lucky to be close to 2 excellent clubs , I think for a newbie Xtasia would be our first place to visit ,
