My mum has a juke and says she wishes she bought the nismo edition, the 1.6 110bhp isn't enough for a big car like that. Feels really flat and boring to drive

The 1.6 187bhp has a lot more go though.

Can't comment on a qashqui never been in one

My mum has the juke too. Not sure what engine or what ever.

I love it apart from it's slow going up hill. She is due an upgrade so was wondering if she should stick with juke or go for other.

The Nissan Quasqui has had good reviews since release. The Jukes styling just isn't for me.

Drove a Juke this week

Terrible and far too basic a car!

Revs far too high at speed too so you'll spend a fortune on fuel

A hell of a decision to make there, I don't envy you having to make such a decision as both are truly terrible vehicles that are aimed directly at the consumer market. With that in mind I would say go for the one that is more expensive.

Wasn't sure if one smiley would cover my rude reply so thought best have two

The crankshaft isn't keyed so the timing pulley is a friction only fit, and the special tool required is kept under lock and key at the main dealer so neither an owner or an independent garage can work on the engine

"Nissan Juke or Nissan Quasqui??"

I dont like the styling of the Juke, way too fussy.

I test drove the Quashqai 2.0 and it had no go at all, and the interior was bland.

Does that help?

I wouldn't say there shit, there just not suited to everyone.

There obviously not designed for speed merchants or long distance drivers so I'm not really sure what their complaining about.

It's just a fancy dan look for an urban user who probably would just be better buying a golf or astra

Mostly in GU24

I hear they are huge on the outside but tiny in the inside. According to my adult daughter they're smaller inside, less flexible than my hyundai i10 and considerably more expensive to run.

East Yorkshire

Guess it's just me then that loves my Juke and getting a new one next week. It's comfy, nice to drive and gives me decent fuel consumption. I like the fact that it's different and easly recognisable as there's too many bland same look a like cars on the market.

Ok so the rear passenger space ain't great but I rarely have more than 2 of in the car and it's not the quickest off the mark but as I got the diesel I didn't really expect it to be

I wouldn't worry about it too much Nissan make perfectly good petrol engines and use Renault for their diesels and the French are rather good at diesels.

Two reasons - they're ugly.

And they're ugly.

Ok, so that's one reason but I thought it was so important it was worth saying twice!

They're both ugly looking cars, the x-trail is a nicer looking car if you like an off roader/urban car. Freelander maybe?

Renault have a large stake in Nissan and Nissan use a lot of Renault components Inc engines and electrics. It's has had a negative effect on reliability so we wouldn't buy either.
