Anyone know manchester centre?

East Yorkshire

Maybe an odd question on here but it's the only place I use that has people from all over the UK!

Can anyone tell me if there is parking close to the Printworks in Manchester City centre. I've tried looking online and all it says is 'it's a stones throw away' which could mean anything really and I'm quite immobile at the moment due to health problems so any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks ??

hello there...hope you manage to get parked nearby. i don't live in manchester and go regularly but know printworks and think you should be able to park very close...i recognise from what you say that you may need to know exactly how far away, etc...but think you can get almost outside if i recall correctly.

good luck

there is an NCP on Schuehill, you then walk down, hill maybe 150-200m to the printworks. Or you can park at Victoria station open air, this is again around 200m from the printworks front entrance. though no inclines are involved.

There is some on street car parking to the rear of the printworks I can remember the name of the street though. There are a few streets around it - I think on street parking would probably be the best option, then you can see how far away it is you have to walk.

Where is it that you are going?

Looking to go to the cinema in there while my daughter and a friend are at a gig at MEN arena. Is it a huge place. Sorry for being so clueless but the website is next to useless and despite regular trips to manchester before I was ill I just can't picture the print works at all

I now what you mean...some websites are all design and no real common sense content...good luck though. The other replies above sound helpful though

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Just be warned. Parking is very expensive. Cost me nearly a tenner last time I went to the Printworks.

Thanks everyone seems it won't be too bad so I can stress less about the parking issue now and concentrate on worrying about my daughters first concert without me instead

Park on Danzig st. Best bet if you can find a space. From there it is an easy walk down to the cinema
