I do love a great storm and can often be found outside during one (daft I know). I do sometimes feel a bit jumpy and apprehensive when they start though. |

One of nature's best spectacle IMHO!
I love watching thunderstorm under the canopy/tarp of my tent in the dry!
The dog hates it though, as it scares him! He is a bit of a wuss! |

love thunder storms!!! like to look out and count between the lightening and the thunder to tell how far away it is
although i did nearly poop myself when i broke down in one and a bolt of lightening hit the field next to me
think we had 7 storms at the same time
that around the county that time, it was like a monsoon |

The best thunder storm this summer was when we were at Eurekas,It was amazing
My son used to be so scared when he was smaller he used to hide in the cupboard under the stairs at the first hint of a rumble |

I love a good thunder storm. If it starts right overhead with a big rumble of thumder then I might jump a bit but I love watching them. Never been frightened, I find a good vantage point and watch.
Wasn't too impressed tonight though as I was on the motorway heading home when it got going and the heavens opened! Driving at 30 miles an hour through 2" of standing water on the M621 in near zero visibility with the wipers unable to keep up with the sheer volume of rain and idiots in the outside lane still trying to do 70 is so NOT my idea of fun! |
