Looking at my surroundings and happy seeing all the colours that will be seen in the coming months.

Some places are not so lucky. Ppl tend to build and lay down surface material that in later times cause the potential for floods as water can not get away.

Do u think ppl are aware of this? Do u think this need to keep society growing at the expense of a little chaos will someday cease? Will future generations actually put a limit to how many ppl will live in this world?

Future generations? China already tries to limit the number of children per family.

Talking about the world as a whole the resources will certainly be less than they are now. Will they enforce death on needless life?

Also talking about homes. Are there homes cemented or have some grass, so the water drains away...

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

People don't understand the water drainage issues and it is so easy to solve.

As to limiting the world's population that's trickier as what it means is telling the poorest that they shouldn't breed when they rely on children to look after them later.

We already have an aging population and we need young people to pay for us into the future. Of course no one would suggest killing the oldies as they have the power and once you're here well, you're here.

I was thinking before a person is born, the restriction enforced by local government to give the go ahead for this birth to happen. That is if the resources run out and we haven't found a substitute.

For some families helping their parents is an issue. But for the ones it is not. I mean, parents gave u life should've u not try and repay that...

The problem with restricting birth is the problem China now has: too many boys and not enough girls as people choose which pregnancy to let go forward or let their girl children die.

The West already has huge numbers of AWOCs and that all adds to the State costs of looking after us when we become old and rickety.

As the song goes,

'They cut all the trees, put them in a tree museum,

Then they charged the people a Dollar and a half just to see them.

All in all it goes to show ,

you don't know what you've got till it's gone'

I think people are aware but there's no profit in slowing down, hopefully there will be a time when the environment and future of the planet are the main concerns instead of money and growth etc…

It is true that modern society over consumes biscuits. That does lead to growth, it has to be said. And what can we do with all those crumbs? It won't be long (scientists predict 15 years) before we are knee deep in biscuit crumbs. We will have to speed up our mission to populate other planets considerably. But Mars or the moon? Mars is bloody cold and not good for diabetics. And we know that the moon is made from cheese, which will surely attract even more biscuit crumbs. I would vote for Pluto but there is no way I am living on a cartoon dog. What to do?

Whilst i wouldn't advocate killing them, the oldies, i do think massive expenditures shouldn't be made simply keeping them all in existence, let nature take it's course.

Population control should occur and at both ends. Quality of all life over quantity.

It's surprising how many biscuits are named after revolutionaries, you've got your Garibaldi of course, you've got your Bourbons, then of course you've got your Peek Freans Trotsky Assortment.
