Gary Glitter facing life in jail

According to the details of one victim she was 12 years old and went to see him at a club in Leicester, which I know for a fact was over 18s only, with her mother.
How on earth did she end up in a hotel room drinking champagne on her own with him? It's a shame negligent parents can't be prosecuted in such cases too. |

He is a sicko but I think he has been used as a smoke screen this week to deflect away from the peados in the government and the royals why does noone including the media get so hyper about the government and the royal peados |

I don't think his trial has been deliberately concluded and sentencing announced to provide a smokescreen. I do agree though that there have been and still are huge cover ups going on. |

I did think the same,the chambermaid went to the room the next day and that child was in the bath with him

Has there been any reports on people seeking compensation?
There are now plenty of convictions, and I am not sure if seeking damages is an automatic thing, but I would assume so? With the wealth of some of these people - why are there not more reports of their victims suing them for every penny in they have?

damn i hate this for the same reason why i hate savile... because it means we can't watch stuff that we did as kids without it now knowing being really really sinister....
next time "rock n roll (part 2)" is played at a sporting event.... thats going to be super awkward/creepy.... |

He wrote/ performed some very catchy songs, that in many ways are evocative of the era and genuinely legit in their own right.
He prolly had lots of help in writing and performing said songs, him being the front man and all.
Turn's out he used to stay at Roald Dahls house a bit too.....
He, him, is still an utter wrongun though.
Maybe he should have turned his attention to politics.... he'd still untouched if he was still breathing.

If you watch Bank Job its based on real facts about a gang hired by the government to steal an envelope of naughty pics of Princess Margaret, the government then start bumping of the gang to cover their tracks.
Prince Andrew had sex with a minor and even though there might be video evidence nothing will happen.
Gary Glitter got his comeuppance which is right but money and high position gets you immunity to most things. |

Yea, but he's like in his 70's now.
I know he was done with child abuse etc.
I know he was found out years ago with child pics on computer.
Pity this case and similar ones (like jimmy savile) werent dealt with years ago. |
