Hey there! Just wondering if any body had any good ideas on fundraising? We have been put in a awful position, our 3 year old dog has dislocated his back leg, we have been quoted £1500 to get him fixed, if we can't afford it we will have to get him put down. I'm truly gutted, heartbroken and so disappointed in myself for having no insurance, but with 3 kids,2 dogs and just living that went to the back of mind!
So anyway we are trying to raise as much as we can to get him what he needs!! So any thought suggestions would be gratefully received x |

Yeah I've thought of that but my credit is just rubbish, I do work part time as a waitress and I do get tips, so been doing extras tgere, but I need it asap as I he is in pain! Its just such a sad experience to be going through. I've had some great help so far, a lot of people are helping me( it makes me nearly cry with joy with the amount of love I'm getting).
I'm gonna hire a hall, sell brick and back, a raffle with a few really good prizes,a cake stand but just wondering what else u can do? X |

Yes I no about insurance and once this is all over that is the first thing I'll be doing!!! Contacted PDSA but I'm not in there area so they can give a £100 donation which is a great start!
Please don't go on about insurance as I'm fully aware of the mistake I've made, and I'm truly gutted about it and could just cry because of it!
All I'm asking is if anyone knows any other ways to fundraise? I have a raffle with a few good prizes, I have a lady making cakes to sell, I have some beef(food!!) Being donated by my local farmer, a free massage from a lovely lady, but how do I get the word around is there any more I can do? Does anyone no if local supermarkets support things like this?
Its a long shot but I've got to give it my all! |

here and there, thereabouts |
Google it; there's another thing that's similar but I can't think what it's called. Basically it's a way of asking for donations to your cause, a lot of small business use it to raise funds and some charity I believe.people pledge money and if you reach your target you get what you need... Go check it out; Ive not used it myself but from what I have heard I would think something like this could qualify. |

Try contacting your local paper- tell them your tale of woe and see if they can publish an appeal with a pic of a sorrowful looking you and a cute but poorly pooch- you may get local businesses to chip in for publicity purposes or even a vet wanting some free advertising who would do you a good deal- after all we are supposed to be a nation of dog lovers |
