I am now a member of the spexy club.. 
Ive loved the look of glasses for ages now and bought several pairs of 'fake' ones just for photography/vain purposes.
but now i actually need them.. just sods law that every pair i tried on i looked like a right tool

Google ProDesign Denmark...they have amazing glasses. A little expensive...totally worth every cent!  |

i just trusted the lady in the shop,, she was honest and clearly had experience with what suited what shape face. She found me some glasses and yeah im happy with them.. tried on only 7 pairs.
id have been there for hours umming and ahhh'ing
large squareish frames with like a warm brown chunkyish type frame. Dirt heap compared to what i thought they'd cost me and we looked at designer ones too. |

I wear glasses for the laptop etc but not many people see me in them! Just uploaded a pic will change profile pic shortly then can all laugh at my geek look |

Just moved onto varifocals as it was to much of a pain in the arse constantly changing glasses!
Need to see the TV remote, reading glasses on, need to see the TV afterwards, normal glasses on, got a text while watching TV, reading glasses back on etc. |

I enquired about prescription lenses for my Oakley's...Jesus, it would have been cheaper to get eye transplants!
I now have the world's most expensive alice band to keep my hair out of my eyes when I'm training as that's all they're good for! |

i appriciate the people have various financial limitations but i was looking at a pair of glasses thinking,, how the heck cant the best part of £200 be spent to create a pair of essentially a pair of very ordinary glasses..   |

as i wear glasses all the time and the price down at the local glasses place was too high i thought id have a change
ended up at glasses direct after seeking advice on another forum
bought 2 pairs of flexi frames and the lenses to go with them i also have reactolight in them as well one is mirror effect the other is brown
both frames for 80.00 |
