Never considered it that way, no more disrespect than subjecting yourself to the judgments of others, feeling the need to show "what you have to offer" and joining a bidding war to score yourself the best possible meet partner on a social swinging/sex site?
It's all relative really, we all do things because at some point or another we enjoy doing them and they are a means to an end.
I personally like getting fucked, in both senses of the word relevant to this discussion, when my time is free and the kids are safe with family it's good to go out and let my hair down
