The morning doesn't officially start till sunrise. In the 15th C it would have been classed as bad luck to wish it someone it before day break and may mean an unsuccessful harvest. |

Greetings had to be very specific back then as they were a superstitious lot always worrying about crops and surviving the winter with poor pickings. |
