Almost anything said in a Glaswegian accent sounds to me like I'm being threatened with being choked on my own internal organs, following their barehanded removal by the person asking if I'd like 2 sugars or 3.
Whereas anything said in a Brum accent, sounds piss funny, even if they are threatening me with being choked on my own internal organs, following their barehanded removal by the person asking why I've just nicked the last parking space. |

There is a joyousness in getting off the bus with a full on West Country "cheers drive!" that is almost as much fun to say as it is to hear. Especially if I'm in a different city and I get the oddest of looks from people for my buxom bumpkin ways. |
