Hi there Fab folks (could this work as a non-cheesy greeting?)
Hope you are all well, thanks for the great welcome on the "intro" forum, really kind of you to drop by and say hi 
I'm trying out the different forums and thought I'd post this question up for your consideration (and musings)
I'm 6' 8" and (look at the username people!) have yet to pop my cherry (do I even have one of those? If not, substitute for another _ruit (or root vegetable!) of your choice.... how about "yet to have my banana peeled"? Have "my carrot nibbled"? No? Right OK well I'll leave it to your imagination then )
I'm curious to know how taller (and shorter) people get on with having fun with people of different statures. I suppose this is as open to smaller people with regular "sized" (as in height... I know what you were thinking!  ) partners too. Do you find it tricky with certain manoeuvres or is it just something that adds to the fun?
Obviously, coming from someone who has yet to have had the pleasure (all right, enough with the innuendo! Sex OK? Shagging / rutting like wild beasts!) Do you find there are any limitations or is the sky really the limit?
I'll also add this little bit on too, mainly aimed at the fabulous ladies on here (hi! *waves*), I've been brushed off a few times (get the sympathy violin out) mainly because of my height.
Ok I might not be Brad Pitt in the slim waist dept but it has been specifically due to my height on the few occasions that girls have turned me down. I've assumed it's because I can appear physically intimidating (I'm a cuddly shrek really!), I don't put myself across as being a "hard nut" or anything like that, I guess I could be a little more confident but I certainly don't want to put folks off by being too pushy (even though a few friends swear by this method... not being an arse but by trying different things until something clicks). Man I feel like the loneliest 23yr old on the planet! 
The question, ladies, do you find a blokes height intimidating? I know that it is all mainly down to how people use their attributes, I'm not some jerk who goes around trying to blag a shag (hey it rhymes!) but I just find it odd that someone would turn someone else down because of their height rather than their personality.
Not trying to blow my own trumpet or anything, but I'm a decent bloke; I don't go diving into underpants at the first sign of breasts! 
I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on these two q's, again I've probably worn out your eyes reading this little essay but I'm curious to know how things are with you folks!

i have never even thought about a persons height when thinking about meeting them, have met people shorter than me and taller (as i mentioned on my post on your introduction thread, the last guy i went out with was 6'8")
i do prefer taller en but thats mainly cos i like wearing heels |

From a not so tall guy (I'm 5ft 8") I don't worry about my size at all its all about the confidence you have. I don't find ladies the same height as me or a little taller intimidating.
If you have the right personality, right attitude and and right outlook i don't think there is any problems.
A lot of ladies like the taller guy and its there pref and I say if they don't want to know you on height alone then its there loss. It really is the person on the inside that can make you be attractive.

i,ve never found a guys height a problem would love to find one whos actually taller than me but i can wish... being a tallie lol i,ve had some men say to me that a women shudn,t be taller than a man and some men are put off by tall bbw women too much to handle lmao. i,m sure you will find that person who will except you for you |

i prefer tall men and i'm only 5'2 - favourite height is 6ft - 6ft2 but as long as the guy is over 5ft7 i'm happy lol
though, i am planning on making an exception for a meet with a 5'3 guy as hes gorgeous, fit as fuck and a lovely person to boot lol |

sometimes people fixated on so many things and think "well this is the reason why people don't want to meet" when the probable reason is a million and one things probably not connected with what you think.....
people will always have preferences and you have to live with that.... just like you have your own preferences in the people that you want to meet, but
what I do find is that negativity is not one of the most alluring traits out there.... and that is what threads like these tend to show in the people starting them.....
sell your positives.... give people a reason to say "yes I have to meet this person"

Tall guys don't put me off - quite the opposite in fact.
However, as I am here to enjoy recreational sex, someone implying they have little or no experience in the sack would put me off.
I like to spend my time with people who know how to enjoy sex, have developed a range of techniques and already grown in sexual maturity .... not training them.

The last guy I dated was 6 foot 8 and I loved that.
I have met a lovely man from a site for sex who is 6 foot 10. Neither have put me off inrelation to their height.
It wouldnt bother me either if they were of stocky build as that would balance out the height.
It is about personality and as Fabio says what you have to offer.

Taller blokes for me every time but height isn't everything.
Height shouldn't intimidate. Those that let it have something wrong with them so don't you worry about it.
Same as Polo ..... I'd never be interested in sex with someone inexperienced tho I guess honesty is better than faking it.
Besides.... it's not women who are intimidated by a big man's height. It's other men.

Well I (Rhi) am 5 ft 10 bare footed and love to wear 6 inch + heels so am normally well over 6ft tall and the lovely Mart is alot shorter than me. this seems to be more of a problem for other people than it is for us we get loads of comments about it but if the height difference was the other way around nobody would bat an eyelid!
I've also been told that I should wear smaller heels as (being no supermodel in stature!) I can apparently seem intimidating but again I love wearing heels and Mart loves to see me in them !

I'm still finding my feet somewhat, though I'd argue that I'm really just posting this to see what others think, not so much because I am trying to think negatively. I love being a tall chap
I think if I could have edited my post it would have been to tweak the sentence about rejections, I really didn't want to come across as some arrogant oaf suggesting that ALL women like taller blokes, not what I was trying got say and apologies if it came out that way. The relevant digits have been punished and normal service should resume........ now!

Yes, I completely agree Polo, experience must play a large part of being on here. Admittedly I'd rather be up front about my lack of experience, it’s not like I don't know about the birds and the bees, but I take your point that each person needs to at least have some prior knowledge "under the bonnet" to make something really great.
I’m hoping that I can use it to my advantage though in not having been “conditioned” into liking any one position or activity… does that make sense? It’s not like I’ve had a “boring” session so everything, although new, is pretty darn exciting!
I think as well, being a little older (oh god, never thought I’d write this) and not having lost my virginity in my teens has helped in that I can take a more measured approach. Don’t think I’ve been sitting here in solitary celibacy though

In all seriousness though, I agree. Although I used to want to have everything "in proportion" when I was younger, it's one of those things that you just can't worry about too much (or you'll go blind ).

Although not as tall as you i am a well built male as i work out regularly. There fore you will be intimidating to some due to sheer bulk. The advantage of the internet is the visual side isn't as apparent and you can get to know someone first. Upon meeting you just have to give someone a little more personal space and they will feel relaxed and comfortable with you. |
